Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel supports an internal leadership academy with a robust development and selection process. We gather input from multiple sources to assess potential leadership candidates who will continue the integrity of our values, technical abilities and customer service.
To maintain these high standards, our company ensures that:
- New leaders attend extensive leadership training that clearly defines expectations and how to live them out.
- Existing leaders receive support training to continually develop skills and emphasize the importance of the leadership role.
- Leaders receive feedback from direct reports and other leaders on how they are living out those expectations.
- Leaders have access to both internal and external leadership professionals to provide customized, one-on-one coaching.
Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel also partners with VIP2 (values-driven, informed, passionate people), an organization led by former Caterpillar executive Jon Harrison – who works closely with all of our people – and other dynamic professionals to provide leadership training, individual coaching and inspiration for every leader in our organization.
